SMS Marketing is an advertising technique which enables organizations to communicate and engage with their audience/customers in an interactive and relevant manner through any mobile device or network.
Suppose you are a computer retailer who, as part of a discount offer, sends promotional SMS to potential customers offering a “Flat 20% discount on all computers”. Ex: If some of the recipients have planned to buy new computer then chances of them approaching your shop are the highest, as SMS Marketing has the power to make the customers feel more related and personalized compared to other advertising media. Even if the customer has no plans to buy a computer at present, in future he will definitely come to your shop as your message remains in his mobile until he deletes it.
160 Characters including space are counted as one English SMS, if the number of characters exceeds 160 it will be counted as 2 SMS. For language SMS, 70 characters is considered as one SMS.
You can check the delivery status of every message in your delivery reports i.e, message sent, delivered, expired, invalid mobile number, opted out & undelivered.
